. The works of Nicholas Roerich, Vasily Tropinin, Ernst Unknown, Fedor Zakharov, will be exhibited at the Russian auction auction house Bonhams and MacDougall’s November 30.

Auction house MacDougall’s, specializing in works of Russian art at auction November 30, will present to collectors of works by Nicholas Roerich, Vasily Tropinin, as well as a collection of works of Soviet art, told RIA Novosti in the auction house.

As stressed by the Director of auction house William McDougall, “the last auction in June showed a recovery in the market. Some works sold above estimate several times. “There is a sense that the market has returned to normal condition after a difficult period. We expect continued market growth during Russian week of trading in November,” said McDougall.

Roerich, Korovin in unknown at Bonhams

One of the top lots of the auction the auction house Bonhams will be “Room Sadko” by Nikolai Roerich, written for the scenery for the failed production of Rimsky-Korsakov’s Sadko at the Royal Opera house, Covent garden.
