Russian mathematicians proved the meaning of the Voynich manuscript

Scientists from the Institute of applied mathematics named after M. V. Keldysh of RAS, conducting statistical research, he was convinced that the text of the Voynich manuscript is written in two mixed languages with the exception of vowels.

Before that, all attempts to decipher unique document and even just to understand whether it is meaningful text, failed. 600 years of useless efforts! According to radiocarbon analysis, the book was written between 1404 and 1438 year, but until now, no one in the world can say what it tells. The cryptographers, CIA and NSA supercomputers, and even doctor «occult Sciences» signed in his complete impotence. A recent report of the cryptologist Gordon Rugg (Gordon Rugg) from Kolskogo University in the UK is: «the Voynich Manuscript is fake. Such a «complex text» is easy to construct by anyone who is familiar with simple methods of copying». It turns out that it is impossible to decipher at all.

Russian mathematicians have set a goal — to understand whether the document is a hoax, that is a meaningless set of characters, or is this encrypted text? If the document is meaningful text, what language it is written? Was the proposed hypothesis about the structure of the text of the manuscript:

— it is written with the permutation of letters,

two of some famous characters of the alphabet corresponds to a single character of the manuscript,

— there is a manuscript-key, without which it is impossible to read the text

— the manuscript is a bilingual text

— the text contains about spaces between words.

In the case of false blanks the text can be easily read if you know what language to read. For example:

However, even after the most primitive of encryption — for example, removal of vowels, the text becomes unreadable.

Now use a second language, English.

Remove from the phrase the vowels.

Translate to Latin Russian phrase.

And add to it the remains of the English phrase.

Now let’s break the phrase with a space and offer to decrypt it to crypto.

This process, according to the Russian mathematicians, was used in order to encrypt some text, later purchased in 1912 by the antiquarian Wilfried Voynich — husband of the writer Ethel Lilian Voynich.

As they understood it? Analysts took an Indo-European — it includes the subgroup of Slavic, Germanic, romance, Greek, serving traditional Basque and Latin. Compare Slavic group of the Ural language family Finno-Ugric branch: Ugric subgroup and the Baltic-Finnish subgroup. And researched artificial languages: Esperanto, Interlingua, volapük, the language of the inhabitants of the planet Qo’noS — Klingon and the «Elvish language» Quenya. We compared combinations of letters and the distances between them, the Hurst exponent* for different languages, spectral portrait of a matrix of two-letter combinations.

Really, it turned out that, comparing statistics, you can determine the proximity of the Danish and Swedish languages, their remoteness from French and Italian, to find other related communications. It became clear that the manuscript is written on one of the European languages. If it were one language, then most likely Danish. But the random arrangement of the symbols suggests that the letters with something else mixed. Or is it the text is written in specially designed language. By the way, was that «Elvish» language Tolkien is very close to the language Interlingua, and Esperanto and volapük is close to Latin. That is, the statistical properties of the artificial language expected close natural.

Analysis of the structure of the whole text of the manuscript has revealed that the pieces are mixed together. Is «Botanical», «Female body», «Astrology» and «Mortar». They also differ in the structure of the text. The study revealed that, most likely, the Voynich manuscript is written in mixed language without vowels, 60% of the text written in English or German, and 40% on Italian or Spanish, although it could be Latin. But what kind of information contains this text, scientists have yet to figure out.

«Unfortunately, to recover all the text without punctuation marks is not possible, as variants of meaningful words is too much. I will give you one option of understanding the text, and the other specialist will draw from these words a completely different meaning. However, I do not know how important today is to try to understanding of the text as such, because, judging by the pictures, it explains what time of year you need to plant poppy seeds to obtain from him the opium. For us, mathematicians, the most important point is to check mathematical tools: can we recognize the language as such? Now we know it can be done. The next step is understanding what are mixed languages written this text,» — said Yuri Orlov, doctor of physico-mathematical Sciences, member of the Institute of applied mathematics named after M. V. Keldysh Russian Academy of Sciences.

Your research and analysic is bad. The manuscript is written in the old Czech language. That is what Voynich himself writes in the letter. Who’s on Yale. ( Beinecke Library).
Second. It’s also written in the manuscript. The key for translation is written on the last page.( Jewish ). ( Numerological system ).
I translated the whole manuscript. I’m going to book. Where do I show. How the manuscript is written and encrypted.

Mi vere antaŭĝojas legi la tutan libron. Min interesas ne nur ĝia enhavo, sed ankaŭ la demando, kial Voynich verkis tiel mistike.
