One of the leaders of the opposition, the Governor of the Venezuelan state of Miranda Henrique Capriles said Tuesday about the death of one person during the protests, going against the government.

«I am deeply sorry and regret to inform you that a wounded bullet in our San Antonio de Los Altos 31-year-old Diego Arellano died,» wrote Capriles in his microblog on Twitter. According to the politician, the victim worked in the Central University of Venezuela and was a biologist.

With the death of Arellano, the number of deaths per day in Venezuela during the protests has risen to four and the total number of dead since the beginning of protests reached 43 people.

Protests in Venezuela began on 4 April, after the Supreme court’s decision to severely limit the power of opposition in the National Assembly. The decision was reversed, but opposition supporters took to the streets demanding the resignation of the members of the court, and hold early elections. Now they are protesting against the convocation of the constituent Assembly, considering it an attempt to change the Constitution.
