Finland doesn’t feel threatened by Russia, told reporters on Wednesday the Ambassador of Finland in Russia Mikko Hautala.

«I think that we don’t feel any threat from Russia. We have a stable relationship… Despite of the issues relating to Ukraine and Syria,» the Ambassador said.

The Russian side has repeatedly denied claims about a military threat from Moscow to the Baltic countries. In Moscow stressed that Russia will never attack any of the NATO countries.

Visit of Ambassador of Finland in Sverdlovsk oblast took place from 16 to 19 may. In the visit schedule – meetings with leaders of the region, the meeting of the working group on trade and economic cooperation, visits to industrial enterprises and the Ural Federal University business forum. The delegation included representatives of two dozen Finnish companies specializing in the production of machine-building, metallurgical products, plastics, various equipment, construction and logistics.
