The head of the world anti-doping Agency (WADA) Craig reedy stated that he hopes that the Russian anti-doping Agency (RUSADA) can resume its work in early June.

At the end of 2015, an independent Commission WADA has accused Russia of numerous anti-doping rule violation. The Moscow anti-doping laboratory was suspended. RUSADA was recognized as non-compliant to the WADA code.

Thursday in Montreal, a meeting of the Council of founders WADA.

«What is done at this stage is really important. And I am grateful to the Board of founders (WADA) for providing, in accordance with the roadmap «green light» for the resumption of the test program (in Russian). I hope (RUSADA can resume work) in early June,» said reedy, quoted by AFP.

Reedy also said that he hoped that the road map for the restoration of RUSADA by November to be implemented.

«The next meeting of the Board of founders (WADA) in November, and I really hope at this point, the process of implementation of the roadmap (to restore RUSADA) will be completed», — quotes the words of reedy Reuters.
