Moscow is no stranger to the us sanctions, the actions of the previous administration in reality helped Russia to «become stronger», said RIA Novosti Deputy foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov in connection with the approval of the House of representatives conress USA of the bill on possible sanctions for providing military assistance to Syria.

The lower house of Congress on may 17 passed a bill on sanctions against those who provide assistance, including the military, Syria. The bill (number 1677), it is also proposed to consolidate the accusations against the Russian space forces in the deliberate bombing of the civilian population in Syria.

«We are used to the us sanctions. In recent years, Washington had introduced them more than 30 times, limiting opportunities for U.S. companies to the Russian market and actually giving impetus to the development of our economy through import substitution and diversification of trade relations. The previous Administration of Barack Obama in reality has helped us become stronger,» — said a senior Russian diplomat.
