Believer opened access to the relics of St. Nicholas in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, told RIA Novosti the Russian Orthodox Church.

The relics of St. Nicholas on Sunday, arrived a special flight to the airport «Vnukovo» from the papal Basilica of Bari. Previously, for all 930 years of stay of the relics in Bari they have never left the city limits. Until 12 July the relics will be placed in the Moscow Cathedral of Christ the Savior, and from 13 July to 28 July, they will be held in Saint-Petersburg.

Informed in a press-service of Department of regional security and combating corruption has reported that the queue to the relics of St. Nicholas has reached 1.5 kilometers.

The pilgrims at the temple approach the Shrine with the relics from both sides. On the approach to the Shrine they are asked to be baptized beforehand. The ark in two rows lined up volunteers to ensure that people are not delayed. Only the temple and the area around it are about two hundred volunteers.
