The movement for motorists blocked in the center of Moscow near Cathedral of Christ the Savior to the faithful were able to venerate the relics of St. Nicholas, which was brought to the capital, told RIA Novosti in the information center of the transport complex of Moscow

«In connection with the organization of access of citizens to the Orthodox Shrine — the relics of St. Nicholas of Myra — from 22 may to 13 July and traffic is restricted to one lane on Prechistenskaya embankment from the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour the Crimean bridge to the street Lenivka and Simonovska travel», — reported in the information center of the Agency.

The relics of St. Nicholas on Sunday, arrived a special flight to the airport «Vnukovo» from the papal Basilica of Bari. Previously, for all 930 years of stay of the relics in Bari they have never left the city limits.

Until 12 July the relics will be placed in Moscow, and from 13 July to 28 July, they will be held in Saint-Petersburg.
