The volume of wage arrears of organizations working in the YNAO, with the beginning of the year decreased by $ 210 million rubles, said on Monday the government of Yamal.

Such data are announced at the meeting of the Commission on sustainable economic development and social stability of the region Deputy Governor Dmitry Artyukhov.

«New organizations-debtors in the district has not appeared. The regional government continues to work with those who have not made payments to its employees. Their total debt currently stands at about 500 million rubles. Most of these organizations (75%) is currently in the process of bankruptcy; the debtors is dominated by companies in the construction sector (92%)», — stated in the message.

The Commission meeting was attended by the heads of the organizations, which accounted for two-thirds of the outstanding indebtedness. On the elimination chart debt to its employees reported the Director of «Yamalspetsstroy» Michael Warriors: according to him, until the end of may the company will pay workers 23 million rubles of debt, and by 1 June it completely paid off.
