The government of the Russian Federation assumes that in 2017 Russia’s economic growth will be under 2% in 2019-2020 achievable output growth rate is higher than the average, told reporters the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev.

«We believe that such documents (government action plan until 2025 — ed.) should be prepared in the medium term, that is, even beyond the political mandate of existing public authorities. Because this is the future, and this document is prepared and he has one goal, which we actually agreed and in which were formulated the order of the President of the Russian Federation»,- said Medvedev.

«We should in future 2019-2020 to get on the pace of Russian economic growth above the world average. Such a goal is attainable, especially given the economic trends that have formed at the moment in our economy. We believe that this year economic growth will be under 2% — this applies to industry and agriculture», — said the Prime Minister.
