The involvement of Kazakhstan in the joint with the Russian Federation work in the space sector will help to minimize the risks and reduce the expenditure of budgetary funds, said Monday Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin.

«Of course, on the one hand, we have to count the money, because all of these funds one way or another are subject to the most stringent account of the conditions when Russia is surrounded and sanctions, and there is the problem of the economic crisis. On the other hand, if today there is such an interest in our traditional partners, such as Kazakhstan, which is willing to invest, including large sums of money in joint projects to purchase and thus experience, and the status space of the country, and due to this we save our budget and have with the geographic positions of the launching pad in nanotechnological basis, why this should be abandoned,» — said Rogozin reporters after meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to him, you can spend hundreds of billions of rubles to do the same for «Eastern», but there is an understanding that minimizing all kinds of risks occurs due to the involvement in the overall process. «This mutual understanding we have with Kazakh colleagues is already present», — said Rogozin.

He noted that all the programmes planned for the «East» will be implemented, by 2021 it is planned to ensure the launch of the «Angara», so the pad for this rocket is built, and after 2025 will need to ensure the launch of the Angara rocket with a hydrogen unit needed for long space flights and the creation of super-heavy rockets.
