A criminal case against a resident of Petersburg, illegally stored a grenade in the apartment and threatened an explosion, said the interior Ministry for St. Petersburg and Leningrad region.

A spokesman for the regional interior Ministry on Monday told RIA Novosti that one of the houses on Friendly Avenue is closed man, saying that he will blow up the room. Arrived at the scene the police, the residents were evacuated, and after negotiations, the man came to the police with empty hands, explained the Agency interlocutor. According to the regional state of Regardie, the man was drunk and kept the apartment grenade f-1 armed with a fighting fuse.

According to authorities, 52-year-old man was arrested and taken to the territorial police Department. It turned out that he had a conflict with his 24-year-old nephew.
