More than half of Americans believe that members of the election campaign of US President Donald trump has not entered into an agreement with Russian officials to influence the US elections in 2016, according to the survey, conducted by Harvard-Harris Poll for the Hill newspaper.

According to the study, 52% of respondents believe that collusion was not, 48% have the opposite opinion. While 54% of respondents say they do not see evidence that members of the election campaign trump colluded with Russia.

The survey shows that 59% of respondents believe that the investigation of the so-called «Russian intervention» in U.S. elections recently appointed spectracolor Robert Mueller may lead to termination of the case, 41% of respondents believe that the investigation will lead to the impeachment of trump.

The survey was conducted may 17-20 among 2006.

US intelligence agencies had previously accused Russia of trying to influence the US elections in 2016. Russia has repeatedly denied the allegations, press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov called them «completely unfounded».
