The Russian grain Union (RGU) has commented on reports about new restrictions on the supply of wheat in Turkey.

On Wednesday, the newspaper «Vedomosti» reported that Turkish authorities have restricted the share of Moscow in the issuance of licenses for import of wheat in the mode of internal recycling to 20-25 percent.

«The statements are sound, but in official documents we have not seen» — told RIA Novosti the head of the Russian grain Union Arkady Zlochevsky.

According to him, if Ankara still impose new rules, the situation will repeat, which was in March-may, when Turkish companies are workarounds for the purchase of Russian grain.

Ankara, 15 March changed the order of import of certain agricultural products, while Russia was not included in the list of countries eligible for duty-free delivery. Turkish businessmen explained the actions of the authorities of Moscow ban on the supply of certain products.

In early may, the presidents of two countries Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan have agreed on a «comprehensive solution» on lifting restrictions. The ban on imports of tomatoes in Russia is still there.
