Court of Yekaterinburg banned blogger Ruslan Sokolovsky, convicted for catching pokemon in the Church, and under house arrest, to go to Moscow on shootings of the program «Hard to be God» TV channel «Rain», told RIA Novosti on Thursday, the lawyer for blogger Alexei Bashmakov.

Previously, the Verkh-Isetskiy district court of Yekaterinburg recognized Sokolovsky guilty of inciting hatred, not only to Christianity and Islam, but also to feminism, and appointed to the «catch pokemon» 3.5 years of conditional imprisonment. Protection blogger appealed the verdict.

As told Bashmakov, «Rain» asked the court to allow Sokolovsky to come on TV.

«Banned. Moreover, the petition was from the TV channel «Rain». We got it with the signatures, seals. Everything is absolutely official. The TV station usually doesn’t do that, but was willing to pay his expenses, he arrived in Moscow, accommodation, flights. But not happened,» said Bashmakov.

He added that the court motivated the refusal in the presence Sokolowski on his own recognizance, which is valid until the sentence comes into legal force. However, the judge has the right to allow a person to travel somewhere, the lawyer said.

According to him, Sokolovsky was planning to go on the program on may 28 at 2-3 days. To refuse to participate in the transmission of the blogger not intended. He will participate in the program via Skype.

The representative of the Verkh-Isetsky regional court confirmed to RIA Novosti on Thursday that the court denied Sokolowski trip. «Before the sentence in force in relation to the Sokolovskoe the measure of restraint in the form of recognizance not to leave. Verdict in force has not entered,» — said the Agency interlocutor. —0-
