Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government and the regions until July 1 to submit proposals on the involvement of the citizens and suppression of forest fires, the corresponding order published on the Kremlin website.

«The Russian government to prepare jointly with the Executive bodies concerned of subjects of the Russian Federation and to submit proposals for the involvement of organizations and citizens to fight wildfires. The deadline is July 1, 2017», — stated in the instructions.

Responsible for the execution of the order appointed Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev and senior officials of constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Putin also instructed the Cabinet of Ministers and the authorities of Buryatia, Irkutsk and Tyumen areas to assess the damage caused by the fires households, and make, if necessary, decisions on compensation.

«The government of the Russian Federation jointly with the Executive authorities of the Republic of Buryatia, the Irkutsk and Tyumen regions to assess damage caused by emergencies households located in the territories of those constituent entities of the Russian Federation, and adopt, if necessary, decisions on compensation. The deadline is 15 June 2017», — said in the instructions.

Responsible for the implementation of Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, acting head of Buryatia Alexey Tsydenov, the Governor of Irkutsk region Sergey Levchenko and the Governor of Tyumen region Vladimir Yakushev.
