Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a telephone conversation discussed Syria and noted the importance of an early agreement on the aspects of the Memorandum on the establishment of a de-escalation, the press service of the Kremlin on Saturday.

«When discussing the Syrian crisis and stressed the importance to agree on the practical aspects of application of the Memorandum on the establishment of a de-escalation in the Syrian Arab Republic», — stated in the message.

It is noted that this will strengthen the cessation of hostilities, to improve the efficiency of inter-Syrian negotiations in Geneva and Astana formats. The two leaders agreed to increase coordination of efforts to address the Syrian crisis at various levels.
