Coptic Christians after a terrorist attack on a bus, which killed about 30 people, accused Egyptian authorities of failing to protect them from violence, writes The Guardian.

Unknown on may 26, in the Egyptian province of Minya fired at a bus carrying Christians-Copts, going on a tour to the local monastery. He urged the Egyptian government «more responsive» in such cases, «instead of waiting for several hours, as it was» after the attack on the bus.

Copts make up about 10 % of the population of Islamic Egypt.
