The construction around the landscape Park «Quiet Bay» in Koktebel is stopped and not completed, said the Minister of ecology and natural resources of the Crimea Gennady Nara.

General Director MIA «Russia Today» Dmitry Kiselev published on the website of RIA Novosti several articles about the proposed construction of high-rise buildings of the coast in a Quiet Bay in Koktebel, calling the ongoing development of the landscape architectural crime. While the development company «Koktebel Sich» only prepared the Foundation for the transformer substation. Permission for construction was issued in the Ukrainian period. After public outcry, the local authorities decided to stop construction.

«If not for government «Quiet Bay», then surely the construction process would continue and that the object was constructed. But given that today protected areas under the control of Republican authorities, construction was not allowed, it stopped, and I am sure that will not be completed,» said Nara the radio station «Sputnik»in Crimea.

Landscape-recreational Park «Quiet Bay» is specially protected natural territory of regional value. There are many rare plants and animals, in Soviet times this place was one of his favorite filmmakers.
