Following the talks, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of India Narendra modi at the St. Petersburg international economic forum will adopt a Declaration which will outline steps to enhance cooperation in politics and economy, told journalists the assistant to the Russian President Yuri Ushakov.

«The outcome of the negotiations will be adopted the so-called Declaration of St. Petersburg «Russia-India», which will offer various steps, the implementation of which will allow to expand bilateral cooperation in various fields: political, trade and economic, both in scientific-technical and humanitarian spheres», — said Ushakov.

According to him, will hold talks in a narrow format, where will be discussed the most topical «and, perhaps, sensitive issues, sensitive issues of bilateral cooperation in various fields and, of course, the main international nodes, and problems.» Followed by a round of talks with the invitation of Ministers. «These talks will be held in the form of a working lunch,» he said.

The document is focused on the future and on the further communication and cooperation, he said.

SPIEF has been held since 1997, and since 2006 is held under the patronage and with the participation of the President of the Russian Federation. The forum has become the world’s leading platform for communication of representatives of business circles and discuss the key economic issues facing Russia, emerging markets and the world at large. This year the forum will be held in the Northern capital on June 1-3. Participation in the forum to date, 39 have confirmed of Ministers from 26 countries. The total number of participants — more than five thousand people.
