Former adviser to the campaign headquarters of U.S. President Donald trump, Boris Epstein has received from the intelligence Committee of the house of representatives request for information in the investigation of the so-called «RF interference» in the elections in 2016, reports ABC News.

According to the channel, Epstein worked for some time in a press-service of the White house. Until March, Epstein held the position of special assistant to the President in the field of public relations. The reasons for his departure then was not reported. As stated channel one of the senior officials of the administration for Epstein «studied the possibilities within the administration.»

As television said the lawyer Epstein, former adviser received a request from the select Committee on intelligence of the house of representatives on the provision of information.

«Mr. Epstein was not subpoenaed, we do not expect that there will be», — quotes TV channel the statement of the lawyer Epstein. It also notes that they have addressed the Committee with several questions about the nature of the information that they require.

Epstein was born in Moscow in 1982.

US intelligence agencies had previously accused Russia of trying to influence the election, Russia has repeatedly denied the allegations, press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov called them «completely unfounded». Some time ago to investigate the «relationships trump of Russia», which deny as the White house and the Kremlin, was appointed special Prosecutor Robert Mueller.
