Hurricane in Tyumen knocked over hundreds of trees and flooded streets

The hurricane that hit the Tyumen last weekend, knocked down more than 100 trees, said the city administration.

«According to preliminary data, received by the dispatcher, the element pushed over hundreds of trees, broke 240 branches, damaged a one stop and three cladding structures, as well as in four places broke power lines. The problem has been corrected in the shortest possible time», — says the Tyumen city hall.

Due to the bad weather in the Tyumen region were left without electricity settlements in which live about 15 thousand people. According to the regional Department of EMERCOM, electricity lost 184 private and nine apartment buildings. Restoration work continues. They are 130 members of 44 teams.
