The attack, according to the Independent newspaper, citing witnesses, occurred shortly after midnight local time. The van ran over the people coming out from the mosque in Finsbury Park.

The Evening Standard newspaper, citing witnesses, reports that jumped out of the car armed with a knife man. The publication notes that the police arrested a white male with black hair. Was it an armed attacker, not specified.

The third of June, a similar incident happened on London bridge. The car crashed into a crowd of pedestrians, after which three terrorists attacked people. Police killed the attackers. The victims were eight people, said Scotland Yard.
