Roskomnadzor has notified more than 100 sites that distribute illegal copies of the documentary film «Interview with Putin» directed by Oliver stone, of copyright infringement, the Agency reported on Monday.

«The Moscow city court has adopted provisional measures of protection of exclusive rights the First channel on the documentary film by Director Oliver stone «Interview with Putin». Based on the definition of the Moscow city court Roskomnadzor has sent notification to the hosting providers and owners of 103 Internet sites that distribute copies of the film with copyright infringement. At the moment, 81 the administration of the Internet resource independently at the request of Roskomnadzor restricted access to illegal information», — stated in the message.

Last week on the TV channel Showtime began showing large-scale project of the American film Director Oliver stone – the film, based on an interview with the President of Russia that were recorded from July 2015 to February 2017. Putin told stone about his parents, the family and personal memories, shared his views on Russian-American relations, spoke on the topic of fighting terrorism, about the relationship with NATO, and «adequate response» to the Alliance.

They talked about Putin’s attitude to the collapse of the Soviet Union, the development of democracy in Russia, the situation in Ukraine, the annexation of Crimea to Russia, and how Russia will act in Syria. In the last series of Putin and discussed about suspicions of interference by Russia in the U.S. presidential election, expectations of Donald trump and also about plans of the Russian President in the future. Monday on the First channel will be the Russian premiere of the film. Russian viewers will see it from 19 to 22 June.
