The Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Netherlands has confirmed that two Dutch journalist kidnapped in Colombia, reports Reuters.

Previously, the Agency with reference to the military reported that two journalists from the Netherlands were kidnapped in northeast Colombia, the members of the leftist organization, the national liberation Army (ELN). Television journalist derk Johannes the bolt and the operator Eugenio Ernest Marie kidnapped while working in the town of El tarra in Norte de Santander, which is on the border with Venezuela.

Dutch Ministry of foreign Affairs stated that the case gives «highest priority».

The national liberation army of Colombia consists of about 2 thousand people. ELN is the second largest armed rebel organization in the country after the Revolutionary armed forces of Colombia (FARC).
