Ended starting a campaign to launch into orbit satellite «kanopus-V-IK» and 72 small spacecraft, told RIA Novosti the representative of the operator for the removal of small satellites «glavkosmos».

«The last of the machines the mission was separated from the upper stage at 17.41 GMT,» — said the representative of «Glavkosmos».

Rocket «Soyuz-2.1 a» with the satellite remote sensing of the Earth «Canopus-b-IR» and 72 small spacecraft was launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome on Friday to 9.36 GMT. After the removal of the «Canopus» at 10.38 GMT were withdrawn passing satellites.

The companion «kanopus-V-IK» is intended for monitoring of technogenic and natural emergency situations, including natural hydro-meteorological phenomena, detecting forest fires, large emissions of pollutants into the natural environment, and monitoring of agricultural activities, natural, including water and coastal resources, and mapping.

72 among the «fellow travelers» of the satellite — two small spacecraft «MCA-N» of the Russian company «Dauria aerospace», two German microsatellite Flying Laptop and TechnoSat, Japanese camera WNISAT-1R and two Norwegian-canadian NorSat unit. In addition, were withdrawn 62 American satellite format CubeSat and three machine made Russian technical universities: «Iskra-MAI-85» of the Moscow aviation Institute, «the lighthouse» of the Moscow Polytechnical University and «Ecuador UTE-SWSU» Kursk South-Western state University.
