Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on expansion of the list subject to control in the Russian Federation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors, in particular, this list includes the plant «Mimosa, hostilis», a document posted on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The document prepared by the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia for the execution of the program «Combating drug trafficking».

Clarifies that in some regions of Russia marked the emergence of a substance with the trade name U-47700 and the facts of poisoning deaths caused by their consumption. In some foreign countries, e.g. in Finland, Estonia, Sweden, Belarus in the national lists of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances made 12 psychoactive substances, but they were not previously included in the corresponding list in Russia.

In addition, the Internet is active fixed spread dried parts of the plant «Mimosa, hostilis» that contains the psychoactive substance DMT and its seeds.

«Signed a decree the list of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors subject to control in Russia, supplemented by a number of psychoactive substances. The plant is «Mimosa, hostilis» included in the list of plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances or their precursors and subject to control in Russia», — the document says.

According to the document, the section «drugs» for this list supplemented with the following substances: «Benzyliden», «Detoxication», «Furylmethanol». In section controlled in the Russian Federation psychotropic substances into the «Desparation», «Iclazepam», «Clonazepam». Only two sections of 12 names.

At the same time amendments to the sections «significant», «large» and «especially large» amounts of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances for the purposes of articles 228, 2281, 229 and 2291 of the criminal code.
