Two criminal cases were initiated after the death of miners in Sverdlovsk region, reports the investigative Committee of Russia in the region.

Earlier it was reported that on 9 and 13 July, the two mines of Severouralsk urban district, there were incidents involving the death of workers. In the first case, killing locomotive driver born in 1968, the second miner sinker born in 1972

«Two criminal cases on signs of the crime provided by article «infringement of safety rules at conducting mountain, building or other works, entailed on imprudence death of the person». The punishment for the Commission of the crime is up to five years of imprisonment», — is spoken in the message.

According to the investigation, the death of the locomotive took place on 9 July as a result of collision of two locomotives at the mine «Kalinskaya». In the second case, which occurred July 13 at the mine «Novo-Kalinskaya» mine-sinker died from injuries sustained when falling rocks.

Added that currently investigators are questioning witnesses to the incident, the mine workers and representatives of their administrations. Also, the investigating authorities analyze the documentation relating to compliance with safety standards in the production of relevant works. To determine the exact cause of death of men are carried out is judicial-medical examination.
