In Moscow opens the youth Orthodox forum «Dobrolet-2017»

The main Orthodox youth event of the year — volunteer forum «Dobrolet-2017» will be held from 16 to 22 July in the suburban town of Sergiev Posad, RIA Novosti the Moscow city diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church.

The forum is held with the blessing of Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill. On the Annunciation field near the Trinity-Sergius Lavra will bring together more than 500 leaders and activists of the Orthodox youth organizations from 49 regions of Russia and also from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Ukraine and Australia.

«The main purpose of the forum «Dobrolet-2017″ – the consolidation of young people, the best representatives of the Orthodox volunteer movement,» organizers said.

Lectures, meetings, interviews and workshops with participants will be conducted by the head of the Department for external Church relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, Metropolitan Hilarion (Alfeyev), the Confessor, Patriarch Kirill, Archimandrite Eli (Nozdrin), consort of singers, Anton and Victoria Makarska, the representative of the Federal Agency for youth Affairs Yury Bykadorov, well-known Soviet and Lithuanian football player Alexander Fokin, the founder and the head of the Foundation «Women for life» Natalia Moskvitina, other Russian politicians, scientists, clergymen, public figures and cultural figures.

All the participants of the youth event to pray together with Patriarch Kirill at the festive divine services in the Trinity-Sergius Lavra, dedicated to the celebration of memory of St. Sergius of Radonezh (July 18). «For the participants of the forum organized a tent camp on Annunciation field, which is everything you need to stay in the field,» — said in the organizing Committee.

The main organizers of the forum «Dobrolet-2017» — the youth Department of the Moscow diocese and the movement «Orthodox volunteers.» The movement of Orthodox volunteers was formed in August 2014 to commemorate the 700th anniversary of the birth of St. Sergius of Radonezh. 2015 projects of the movement involved more than 20 thousand young people from across the country — activists and youth leaders of the Orthodox and secular organizations.
