More than five thousand people roughly will become participants of the V International festival «Usadba Jazz», which will be held on 15 July in Yekaterinburg in the manor Kharitonov-Kharitonov Palace, told journalists on Friday the President of the festival Maria semushkina.

«This year we expect more than five thousand people,» she said.

The festival will have two scenes – «the orchestra» and Jazz Club. Will perform Georgian group Mgzavrebi, Varvara Vizbor, Colombian singer Gina Savino, as well as Russian musicians – singer Amy Peters and Andrei Kondakov Electric Project, the ensemble Kickin’ Jass Orchestra that plays new Orleans jazz, and other performers.

«Our task is to carry out this mission: share music, improve the cultural atmosphere at work so that people have as much knowledge about music… we have musicians from Russia: from Moscow, Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg. And always wanted to bring something special. This time it’s an interesting performer from Colombia (South America), which is a winner of various competitions, a lot of it is experimenting with jazz and soul, and in a fairly popular formats,» said semushkina.

The festival also will include various workshops on dance, playing musical instruments, needlework, floral design.

The current festival is dedicated to the environment, which is declared in Russia the year 2017. «This year we focus on the topic of external and internal environment. Natural clothing, healthy food, natural energy and the ecology of consciousness that needs cleansing from negative emotions, is something without which it is difficult to imagine a happy future», — stated in the message of organizers.
