According to Russian Ivan Shtyl and Alexander Kovalenko won the 200m at the European Championships in rowing and Canoeing, which takes place in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

Shtyl and Kovalenko in the final results showed 35,627 seconds. The second were the Belarusians Andrei Bogdanovich and Denis Makhlay (36,137). The bronze went to Hungary to Jonathan Hajdu and Adam Fekete (36,330).

Shtyl earlier on Sunday, paired with Viktor by Melanthium won gold in the 500 meters.
