British band Depeche Mode has canceled a concert in Minsk due to the illness of one of the members of the group, reported on the official page at Facebook.

«We regret to inform that due to illness of one of the members of Depeche Mode will not be able to speak today in Minsk in Belarus. We consider now all the migration options this concert at a later date,» reads the statement. Which of the members of the group got sick, not specified.

Musicians urge fans to keep the tickets of the show, to get compensation for the cancelled concert or to get to the performance, scheduled for a new date.

Depeche Mode performed concerts in St. Petersburg and Moscow on Thursday and Saturday.

Group Depeche Mode is one of the most prominent representatives of the «new wave», as well as the styles of synth-pop and post-punk, was formed in 1980 in Basildon (Essex). For more than 30 years of its existence, the band has released 13 Studio albums and sold over 115 million copies, and more than 40 singles hit the UK charts.
