Several police district of Chacao in the Venezuelan capital, under arrest, on Monday sewed up their mouths in protest against the illegal imprisonment.

We are talking about five of the 14 guards detained on suspicion in murder of local journalist in June 2016. The result of the investigation the prosecution came to the conclusion about their involvement in the crime, but from-under guards still did not release.

«So far we have not received a response to our demands. Until this happens, our health deteriorates, and the competent authority all too easily relate to our condition in prison,» — said in a public appeal police, published in social networks.

Before this step the police 22 days he was on hunger strike, relatives of the prisoners police at the protest fast from July 3.
