Japanese doctors have confirmed the death of two people in landslides and floods after prolonged heavy rains in the South-Western island of Kyushu, therefore, the total number of victims of disaster has now risen to 34 people.

Earlier it was reported 32 dead. Another seven people are still missing.

More than two thousand employees of the defense forces, police and fire brigade continue to search for missing persons. The recommendation about evacuation is maintained for nearly 2.2 thousand people.

On the southwest island of Kyushu due to prolonged torrential rains caused multiple floods and landslides. Destroyed houses, roads, railway bridges. The number of dropped here only for the first day of rainfall exceeded the monthly norm of July.
