Klyuchevskoy volcano on Kamchatka threw a column of ash to a height of 6 thousand meters above sea level, according to the Kamchatka group volcanic eruption response (KVERT) Institute of Volcanology and seismology Feb RAS.

«Tuesday at the Klyuchevskoy volcano was recorded ash plume. It reached the height of 6 thousand meters above sea level», — stated in the message.

It is noted that a weak ash plume stretches for 23 km in a South-Eastern direction from the volcano. Klyuchevsky assigned «orange» aviation code of the danger.

According to the regional Central Board MOE, deposition of ash from the Klyuchevskoy volcano in the settlements are not registered.

Klyuchevsky, the highest active volcano of Eurasia. The height of 4 thousand 750 metres. The nearest settlement is the village of Keys, located 30 kilometers from the volcano.
