The leader of the Democrats in the U.S. Senate Chuck Schumer called on Republicans to work together on a new bill in the health sector.

On Monday it became known that the proposed Republican bill to replace the existing in-country health care system Obamacare refused to support the four senators representing the Republican party. On the background of the failure of all democratic senators to vote for the document this means that it will not be accepted.

In a special statement, Schumer noted that the failure of the Republicans to carry out the new law proves that «its essence was not operational.»

«Instead of having to repeat the same failed one-party process, the Republicans should start from scratch and work together with Democrats to reduce insurance premiums, ensure long-term stability in the markets and improve our healthcare system,» said the Senator.

In may, the house of representatives voted by a margin of just one vote for the replacement of the new initiatives of a set of laws, known as Obamacare, and also held a slim majority in the Board of the Barack Obama in 2010. The new program, the implementation of which succeed the President, Donald trump and speaker of the house of representatives Paul Ryan, aims to increase competition in the healthcare market and lower prices, which in the US at record high on a global scale.

Republicans say that the previous reform Obama, obliging everyone to buy insurance and promised subsidies to the poor, do not reach the goals, and only reduced access to health care. Democrats say that Republicans proposed program equivalent to tax cuts for the rich and that it will lead to the loss of jobs and decline of medical services for the poor and middle class.
