Employees of management of FSB across Petersburg and Leningrad region on Tuesday held a number of investigative actions in respect of the company «Renaissance Construction» («Renaissance construction»), which is the General contractor for the construction of the complex «Lakhta center», told RIA Novosti on Wednesday the press service of the Ministry.

«The management of FSB of Russia in the city of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region confirms the holding on Tuesday of the operational-investigative actions, including in the company «Renaissance construction», — said the representative of the press service of the Ministry, declining to comment on the purpose and results of operational-investigative actions.

As reported by RIA Novosti source in the business structures of the city, investigative actions were carried out in the case of illegal withdrawal abroad more than 100 billion rubles. According to him, the criminal case brought under article 193.1 of the criminal code («perform foreign exchange transactions for the remittance of funds in foreign currency or the currency of the Russian Federation to the accounts of non-residents using falsified documents»).
