The head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov instructed to minimize the possibility of terrorist attacks on chemical plants located near the border with Ukraine.

In the North of Crimea are concentrated the largest chemical companies: “the Crimean Titan”, “Bromine”, “Crimean soda plant”. Aksenov noted that, in General, informed decisions regarding maintenance of antiterrorist security of objects of the chemical industry of the Republic fulfilled.

“However, considering the proximity to the border with Ukraine, I believe that these objects should minimize the possibility of a terrorist act”, – quotes the words Aksenova his press service. Instruction is given at a meeting of the antiterrorist Commission of the Republic.

Earlier, the FSB reported on the prevention in the Crimea the attacks prepared by the main intelligence Directorate of the defense Ministry of Ukraine against critical infrastructure and life support of the Peninsula. On the night of August 7 near the town of Armyansk in the Crimea was found a group of saboteurs. During the arrest of terrorists killed the employee of FSB of Russia. On the site of the clashes detected explosive devices, and weapons of special forces of armed forces of Ukraine.

On the night of 8 August, the special forces of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine carried out two attempts of a breakthrough sabotage and terrorist groups, which was covered by massive attack from the neighboring state, and armored vehicles. During the firefight, killed a soldier of the defense Ministry. Attempts to break through were foiled.
