. The Ingush authorities seized 180 of the more than 900 land previously illegally distributed in Magas under individual housing construction, said Monday the press service of the head region.

In June, the head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov announced a ban of private housing in Magas. According to him, in 2007-2008, the original master plan of the city was altered by unscrupulous officials for the sale of land for individual housing construction. Then more than 900 plots of land were distributed in those districts where planned roads, schools, kindergartens, stadiums, and green zone. Authorities have suspended the illegal construction of private houses, which are not provided by the General plan.

“Acting Deputy Prime Minister Valery Kuksa on Monday reported to the head region 180 of illegally distributed the land already confiscated by the court decision”, — stated in the message.

Until the end of the year in the property of the municipality promise to return more than 200 plots. “Work in progress. I am sure that the cancellation will go through all 900 of land,” said Kuksa.

Yevkurov stated the need for the publication of the list of the so-called owners of these land plots. “These people should be identified and brought to justice,” — said the head of Ingushetia.
