The story told of the great Shakespeare a few centuries ago — about doubting the Lord and his false Governor, the young, “the criminal necessarily” and his fanatical sister, the nun, and today gives rise to disturbing questions: what we are willing to save the life of a loved one? Whether the right to judge those who, being in authority, easily transgress the law, and often goes unpunished? There always comes the reckoning for their actions — measure for measure, or mercy of the victim punishes the offender more severely?

British Director, known for the theatrical world for its Shakespearean productions, together with the Russian actors retells this rather bitter, but still hopeful for a better story, immersing the viewers in a stylish, musical and mystical world. With the help of an expressive set design nick Ormerod and magical music of Paul Akimkina guide it will be a great ensemble cast, in which the soloist Valery Pankov, Alexander Feklistov, Andrey Kuzichev, Anna Khalilulina.
