Over the past three weeks the proportion of influenza viruses in the General structure of positive findings during examination of patients of SARS increased by 7.7%, while the Hong Kong flu isolated in 62 cases in 23 regions of the country, told RIA Novosti the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova.

“The results of laboratory monitoring over the past week surveyed almost 4 thousand people with signs of SARS, and we see the absolute increase in the proportion of influenza viruses in the General structure of positive findings,” — said Popov.

“If in the 44th week it was slightly more than 1.5%, while in the 47th week — 9,2%. And basically it’s a virus of influenza AH3N2 — the Hong Kong flu, about which we already spoke. Virus isolated in 62 cases in 23 Federal subjects”, — said the head of the Supervisory authority.

According to her, the greatest number of cases allocated to the Moscow and Yaroslavl regions, Moscow and Saint Petersburg, the Rostov region and the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. Also, according to Popova, Voronezh and Saratov regions in six cases, the virus of influenza AH1N1 2009. Influenza virus B according to Rospotrebnadzor, stood out twice — in Moscow and in Kaliningrad region.

Despite the increased proportion of influenza morbidity in Russia remains low, said Popov.

“On the 47th week in the whole territory of the Russian Federation we note the low incidence of influenza and ARVI. For the aggregate population excess of week epidemic thresholds of incidence of ORVI and a flu has been seen in seven subjects of the Russian Federation”, — said the Agency interlocutor.

According to Rospotrebnadzor, this Kostroma, Novosibirsk, Sakhalin region, Republic of Komi, the Udmurt Republic, Khabarovsk Krai, Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Among children zero to two years, the excess observed in four subjects, among preschool children three to six years — five: Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Sakhalin region, Khabarovsk Krai, and the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, while in Novosibirsk and Sakhalin regions also noted the excess among children up to two years. According to Popova, among schoolchildren from seven to 14 years, the excess observed in the Bryansk, Ryazan and Yaroslavl regions.

Adults get sick more often in the Kostroma region, Republic of Komi, the Chechen Republic, which marked the exceeding weekly thresholds of influenza, SARS and 25 %.
