The President of Russia Vladimir Putin in his annual address to the Federal Assembly could affect the investment climate in the regions, as well as the pressure on businesses in criminal matters, says the head of the organization of small and medium entrepreneurship “OPORA Russia” Alexander Kalinin.

Putin will deliver his annual address to the Federal Assembly on 1 December.

“Because not so long ago there was the Council of State on the investment climate in the regions, I think that part of the message be about that. The fact is that the improvement of the investment climate is very mixed,” said Kalinin, RIA Novosti.

He noted that if there are regions that, according to the national investment rating, have been developing quite dynamically (the first twenty, in particular, Tatarstan, Belgorod and Kaluga region), that is, regions where the investment climate is not something that is not improving and is even deteriorating.

“This gap is dangerous because business migrates inside the country in more successful regions, and income differentiation in the regions is starting to increase,” he said.

“In addition, probably, will be the interim results and set new targets for the reduction of pressure on entrepreneurs in criminal law and criminal procedural sphere. A number of successes this year has been, but I cannot stop here,” — said Kalinin.
