At the fair “Non/fiction” has established a special literary prize

The organizers of the International literary fair of intellectual literature non/fictio№18 established a special award for the professional book community, said at a press conference on Wednesday, the publisher Irina Prokhorova.

Today in Moscow the international fair of intellectual literature non/fictio№. An important innovation was the establishment of the award, which, according to the organizers, once again the strategy of fair and show how the book operates as part of the industry.

“It seemed to us that the fair is so long and successfully works, it would be important to develop it in terms of the award. Because the fair was created as an institution that promotes independent publishers, good intellectual literature, the prize is a very important aspect to enhance the strategy of fair “Non-fiction”, — said Prokhorov.

According to her, books in different nominations of the award are to nominate representatives of the professional community — publishers, distributors, media representatives.

For the first time the award ceremony will take place next year, and this year the organizers will award the representatives of the book industry in the categories “Book trade”, “Library”, “Media” and “For merits”.

The literary fair is annually held in Moscow Central house of artists on Krymsky Val. For five days on seven forums and many stands of participants will be held book presentations, creative meetings with popular authors with the readers, round tables, lectures and discussions about current themes in contemporary literature and book publishing business. Visitors to the fair will find an expansive children’s and business program.

Special guest of the event this year became the first UK. The fair will be attended by 30 foreign and more than 50 Russian authors.

Fair non/fictio№18 is held under the patronage of the Federal Agency and with the support of Department of culture of Moscow, Department of labor and social protection of the population and culture institutes of foreign countries.
