In February it was reported that the CAS will consider the cases of the eight Russian athletes who have violated anti-doping rules, including Chernov, Sarmina and Ugarov, instead of the all-Russian athletics Federation (vfla), which was suspended following the inquiry by the independent Commission of the world anti-doping Agency (WADA).

CAS annulled the results of the performances of semibalki Rough in all competitions, starting from 15 August 2011 to 22 July 2013. Thus, she is deprived of the gold of the world Cup 2011, and bronze in the 2012 Olympics. CAS also disqualified her for 3 years and 8 months, starting from February 5, 2016. Previously RUSADA in January 2015 after the detection of a prohibited substance in the sample Draft world championship 2009 disqualified her for two years from 22 July 2013. CAS ruled that those 2 years will be deducted from her new suspension.

Runner Sarmina suspended for three years, starting from December 7, 2015. Cancelled all its achievements, starting from 17 June 2011 to 5 August 2015 (including the gold medal of the Universiade in Kazan). Runner Ugarov suspended for 2 years, starting on 7 September 2015. Canceled all of her performances, starting from 26 June 2012 to 25 Dec 2012.

Independent Commission WADA 9 November 2015 and the results of the investigation have accused Russia of numerous anti-doping rule violation and recommended that the International Association of athletics federations (IAAF) to disqualify Russian athletes from participation in competitions under its auspices, including the 2016 Olympics. The IAAF Council then decided to suspend wfla.
