Russia expects resolution by ICAO on the introduction of Ukraine threat-fly zones

The Russian aviation authorities have informed the International civil aviation organization (ICAO) on the introduction by Ukraine of a new threat-fly zones over the Black sea, waiting for the resolution, reported to journalists the Deputy Minister of transport of Russia Valery Okulov.

“Now is the air navigation Council of the North Atlantic office of ICAO. There our representatives just announced a situation associated with the introduction of these exclusion zones, we expect that this statement will be adopted as a formal resolution. We also inform the President of the Council of ICAO,” he said.

The Federal air transport Agency on Tuesday evening said that Ukraine has issued another aviation notice, which sets a new threat to the no-fly zone over neutral waters of the Black sea and partly over the black sea territorial waters of the Russian Federation to the South-West and South-East of the Crimea Peninsula. The reason for the establishment of new danger zones in the notification not specified.
