Questions on the restoration of the Moscow anti-doping laboratory basically solved, said the head of the Independent voluntary anti-doping Commission (PLA) Vitaly Smirnov.

Independent Commission of the world anti-doping Agency (WADA) in November 2015 has accused Russia of violating the anti-doping rules. Was suspended the Moscow anti-doping laboratory, and also made a decision on the compliance of RUSADA of the WADA code.

“The task of rehabilitation of our Agency, our lab and so on basically solved, — Smirnov told reporters after a regular meeting of the PLA held on Wednesday in MIA “Russia today”. — There is a corresponding legislative decision, including the increase in the population of responsibility for violations in this area. Now we are thinking about how to build the work of our Commission (PLA) in the future.”

In late November, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the law on introduction in Russia a criminal liability for declination of athletes for doping.
