Politician Boris Nemtsov to murder regularly received threats, he appealed on this occasion to law enforcement agencies, said Wednesday during the interrogation in the Moscow district military court acting as a witness, the Chairman of Parnas Ilya Yashin.

“He often received threats. He even appealed to law enforcement agencies. The threat was public — on social networks. The threats were and personal. For three years before the murder, he complained that there were threats to his son,” the witness said, answering a question of the lawyer of the family Nemtsov Vadim Prokhorov.

According to Yashin, threatened, tried to force Nemtsov to retire from politics.

Nemtsov shot dead in Central Moscow on the night of February 28, 2015, held in 1990-ies a number of high posts in the government of Russia, and in the 2000s, joined the opposition.

The defendants are the alleged killer Zaur Dadayev, Khamzat, who, according to investigators, co-conspirators supplied information and had to hide them after the crime, Temirlan Eskerkhanov, which is charged with tracking the routes of Nemtsov, as well as brothers Anzor and Shadid Gubareva.

Also the investigation is allocated in separate manufacture criminal case concerning the alleged customer and the organizer of the murder of Ruslan Muhudinov, held November 2015 in the international wanted list, and against other unidentified persons.
