Petty-bourgeois court of Moscow on Thursday will hold a preliminary hearing in the case of the former head of Rosgranitsa Dmitry Bezdelov about the theft of almost 500 million rubles, told RIA Novosti press-Secretary of the court Yulia Bocharova.

“The court will hold a preliminary hearing in the criminal case against Bezdelov, who, by law, held behind closed doors. The session is scheduled for 12.00” — said the spokesman.

According to the investigation, we are talking about the embezzlement of budget funds totaling more than 490 million rubles allocated by the state for the design, construction, renovation, equipment and other arrangement of checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation.

According to investigators, the former head of Rosgranitsa Bezdelov in 2009, together with the head of FGU “Directorate for construction and operation of facilities Rosgranitsa” Oleg Senkevich and head of Department of arrangement of objects of the state border and the administrative border crossing points of the Russian border Danila Vavilov created a criminal community, and from September 2009 to may 2013 they were stolen and legalized more than 490 million rubles.

Also, according to the investigators, the criminal activities Bezdelov was attracted by his Deputy Boris Khaytovych and a number of senior employees of Rosgranstroy and CEOs of controlled commercial organizations.

A criminal case against seven alleged accomplices Bezdelov at the present is pending in court, two of them already sentenced to long terms of imprisonment.
