The presidential Council on human rights (HRC) published a report on the visit to penal colony No. 7 (IR-7) in the town of Segezha, where the convicted person is serving a sentence for violation of order of holding rallies Ildar Dading; the document of the HRC recommends that the Prosecutor’s office of Karelia to check the quality of supervision of correctional facilities, including in KBC-7.

Ildar Dading was four times arrested by the police for violation of the order of the meeting, the last time on 5 December 2014. Each time he was brought to administrative responsibility. According to Russian law, such repeated violation entails criminal prosecution. The maximum sanction of article of the criminal code provides till five years of imprisonment. Basmanny court sentenced Dading to three years in prison, although the Prosecutor requested two years in prison. Then the Moscow city court reduced the sentence by six months.
