About a hundred and twenty thousand people participated in early voting in the presidential elections in Uzbekistan, which ended December 2 no violations have been recorded, reported RIA Novosti on Saturday in the press center of the CEC of the Republic.

“At the end of early voting polling stations visited 117,902 thousand people. Violations during early voting, not recorded,” — said the representative of the CEC.

In accordance with the legislation, citizens of Uzbekistan, who for one reason or another are unable to participate in voting in a primary election day may do so in advance. And wishing to vote early don’t have to explain the reason for the decision. Early voting starts ten days before the election and ends one day before elections.

According to the Central election Commission for elections of the President of Uzbekistan established 9,383 thousand polling stations, 44 of them outside the country, which must vote 21.4 million voters.

All four are registered in the country parties nominated candidates for the presidency. According to political analysts, the main contender for victory is the acting head of state Mirziyoev, nominated by the liberal democratic party of Uzbekistan (UzLiDeP). Mirziyoev, a supporter of the non-aligned countries to the military-political blocs, in favour of the development of relations with CIS countries, primarily with Russia.

Two other candidates — Deputy speaker of the legislative (lower) chamber of Parliament Sarwar of Atamuradov nominated by the National democratic party “Milly Tiklanish” (National revival) and the leader of the social democratic party “Adolat” (“Justice”) narimon Umarov — are also encouraged to maintain and develop Alliance and strategic relations with Russia. The leader of the people’s democratic party of Uzbekistan Hataman Meetings mainly focused on the implementation of employment programmes, the tariff policy in housing and communal services and strengthening the role of the state in social policy.
